"We spontaneously drove into this location last night on the off chance they had an opening. We loved the look of the log cabin buildings and proximity to the lake. We were able to get a cabin (#4) for a very reasonable price. Pros: Very reasonable price (perhaps the shoulder season?); kitchen was fully appointed and had full-sized appliances; linens and bedding all provided; firm mattress was my preference; lots of bird activity to view; visible placement of fire extinguishers;..."

"We had rented the chalet with our son and his family. The chalet was clean and we were pleased with the personal service. We were able to rent canoes for the days we were there. The staff was warm and very welcoming. The only thing we would do differently is bring our own bbq as one was not available"
